This allows us to be assessed against very strict Health & Safety criteria and enables us to be certain of high standards of Health & Safety systems every year. This standard is required by the majority of major contractors

CHAS or the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme is another externally accredited scheme to determine our compliance with Health & Safety Law and best practice. This standard is an absolute requirement for Local Authority and NHS Tenders

The Safe Contractor Scheme was established to allow everyone allied to the building trade to demonstrate their ability to meet the legal requirements and demonstrate high standards of Health & Safety Management. Often demanded as a pre-tender requirement from Household names for all contractors

1Cold are committed to CSCS, so much so that we have the highest level of certification – known as the Platinum Award. This Construction Skills Certification Scheme is designed to show how active we are in training employees to ensure their safety on every construction site that we operate on
